Olympique de Marseille have a new attacking player in their sights: Armand Laurienté, the attacking midfielder from Sassuolo.

So it’s not over yet. After making Elye Wahi its ninth recruit of the summer (the tenth if you count Bamo Meïté), Olympique de Marseille is not finished with its recruitment, particularly in the offensive sector.

The latest lead is Armand Laurienté. According to journalist Alfredo Pedulla, OM offered 12 million euros plus bonuses for the former Lorient player, but Sassuolo would like at least 16 million euros and 2 million euros in bonuses.

It should be noted that if Sassuolo is Roberto De Zerbi’s former club, the Italian coach had been gone for a year when Laurienté was recruited by the transalpine team. The Olympian coach was however able to activate his contacts on site to have more information on this new target.
