WWE has quite a few talented Superstars in all of their brands, who are ready to make a name for themselves. Now it appears a new tag team has entered the scene on WWE SmackDown, which was announced after the show.

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was eventful from top to bottom, featuring a lot of action and memorable segments. With that said, fans still wonder if they will have more focus on the tag team division.

In an exclusive announcement, Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Cedric Alexander revealed their partnership, expressing their intent to make a significant impact. They addressed various tag teams, asserting their dominance and even proposed their tag team name, “Rags” for Alexander and “Riches” for Adonis.

Cedric Alexander: My name is Cedric Alexander.

Ashante “Thee” Adonis: I’m Ashante “Thee” Adonis.

Ashante “Thee” Adonis: Guess what? Actually, I just got our tag team name. Rags [points at Alexander] and riches [points at himself].

Cedric Alexander: Why do I gotta be rags?

Ashante “Thee” Adonis: I don’t want to look at you. You look like a referee. I’m just playing. We gotta get you leveled up, though. I got you. Don’t even worry about it.

The duo brings a mix of experience, with Alexander being a former Raw Tag Team Champion, and Adonis having teamed up with Top Dolla in Hit Row. The debut date for the team in WWE programming is currently unknown.

With WWE reaching an elusive deal with Twitter for their ‘WWE Speed’ show, perhaps fans will see this new tag team compete on a weekly basis. We will have to see when they will start competing.
