Firmly determined to keep Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Naples, through its sporting director Giovanni Manna, confirmed that talks were underway to further link the Georgian nugget to the Parthenopean city.

This summer, Paris Saint-Germain had set their sights on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but despite mutual interest, the operation came up against Naples’ categorical refusal to give up its Georgian striker, under contract until June 2027.

According to recent statements by Giovanni Manna, the Partenopei’s sporting director, this three-year contract could soon be extended. The Neapolitan manager confirmed that discussions were underway with the 23-year-old left winger’s representatives with a view to extending his lease.

Kvaratskhelia well on its way to extending its term

“He still has three years left on his contract.”said Giovanni Manna in an interview with Sky Sport Italia, before adding: “This summer, several teams approached him, but we shared the desire to continue the adventure together. Now, we are talking with his entourage to find an agreement on an extension. We are calm!”

It remains to be seen whether such an extension will cool PSG’s ardor or whether Kvaratskhelia will take the opportunity to include a clause facilitating a possible departure in the summer of 2025.
