Newcastle are fast in the transfer market this year. Winter is not even over when the English club confirms the signing of a player for next season. In negotiations for several weeks with Chelsea, Eddie Howe confirmed the purchase of Lewis Hall, a young Chelsea player loaned this season to the Magpies: “I can confirm that the final transfer of Lewis Hall is about to be completed. It will stay here for many years to come.”
The 19-year-old would sign for a tidy sum of £30 million (around €35 million) as agreed between the two clubs at the time of the loan. With Newcastle this season, the left-back has only played one Premier League match. He especially showed himself in the League Cup this fall. The Welshman scored against United during the round of 16.
