Newcastle United attacker Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move away from the club all summer.
The boyhood Liverpool fan has been linked with a move to Anfield and the Magpies even considered selling him when they were in trouble with Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.
Newcastle United needed to raise money to balance their finances and they considered selling Gordon but the sales of Yankuba Minteh and Elliot Anderson were enough for the Magpies to sort out the financial mess.
However, Gordon keeps getting linked to a move away from St James’ Park to join Liverpool and not only are the Reds reportedly interested in signing him, the player has his head turned by interest from the Premier League giants.
In case Newcastle United lose one of their best players from last season, Gordon, they will target a move for West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen or Mohammed Kudus, according to i News.

Bowen has been a long term Newcastle target but the Magpies have never really gone ahead with their interest in the player.
He would be the ideal player for the club and his ability to play in a number of positions as well as his ability to score goals would be a huge asset for the Toon Army.
His teammate, Kudus, who scored 14 goals in all competitions and provided six assists last season, has been a breath of fresh air for the Hammers and his fine performances have not gone unnoticed by Newcastle.
Both the West Ham players could be great potential additions to Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United side but first and foremost, it is important to keep the best players at the club and Gordon is one of them.
Gordon will keep getting linked to an exit and that is why the Magpies are looking to tie him down to a new contract at the club.
