Bruno Guimaraes was left delighted on Tuesday night, but it just wasn't because of the 3-1 victory over Aston Villa.

Instead, the Newcastle star was left ecstatic after being gifted two packs of Kinder Bueno by a generous supporter.

The Brazilian star was part of the Magpies' side who earned a comprehensive victory over Unai Emery's side at Villa Park, a result that ends a four-match losing run in the Premier League.

With Newcastle seventh in the table, Guimaraes will be keen to celebrate the victory and will get the chance to do that in style.

In footage captured by Newcastle's official media channels, the midfielder made his way into the tunnel at Villa Park but was summoned by a fan outside.

In exchange for his match-worn shirt, he was then handed two packets of Kinder Bueno, to which Guimaraes exclaimed in a show of genuine excitement: "Yeah!"

Whether that proclamation of joy was as a result of the victory or the chocolate remains to be seen, but he could certainly be forgiven for merely being delighted at the sweet treat he'd been gifted.

The 26-year-old moved to Tyneside two years ago to the day after arriving for a fee of £40million from Lyon.

Since then he's made 89 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals and bagging 11 assists while establishing himself as a fan favourite.

However, supporters will be praying that he stays put with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain interested in a summer move.

With a £100million release clause in his contract, Newcastle could be powerless to keep him and that means that they perhaps must enjoy him while he's still around.
