The Newcastle United contracts situation is in a very healthy position.

As you can see below.

Last week, news came that a Dan Burn contract extension had been triggered, with the Geordie now contracted to the club until 30 June 2026, rather than 30 June 2025, as had been the case before the extra year was triggered.

Then on Tuesday, the excellent and much anticipated announcement that Anthony Gordon had agreed a new longer contract.

As you can see below, the club in a very good position when it comes to Newcastle United contracts.

The club referred to the new Anthony Gordon deal as simply ‘long-term’, however, The Mail say that their information is that it is a new five year contract and now takes him up to end of June 2029.

One of the numerous superb Eddie Howe signings, the Head Coach very happy with the 23 year old agreeing a new extended deal:

“He has grown as a player and as a person during his time at Newcastle United and he has continued to prove just how good he is on the biggest stage.

“There’s even more to come from Anthony and I’m excited about what’s ahead for him and us.”
