We have the winners for Night 1 of the 45th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards. The News categories were in the spotlight tonight at the at the Palladium Times Square in New York City, which also will host the Documentary ceremony on Thursday night.
The 65 total categories cover programming content that premiered during calendar 2023. Both ceremonies are presented live on the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ dedicated viewing platform and streaming at watch.theemmys.tv and Emmy apps starting at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT. TV news legend Jane Pauley was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award tonight, and Oscar-winning documentarian Alex Gibney will receive the same honor Thursday.
