Newcastle United have now announced (see below) that their next match has been postponed!
The game at AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night will no longer take place, due to flooding.
No rescheduled date as yet.
Not sure how to take this one in terms of how it impacts on Newcastle United.
I think ideally it would have been a positive if it had gone ahead, a chance to get Saturday’s result and performance into the past, at least to an extent. Assuming that Newcastle would have won of course.
However, it does mean now a free week for Eddie Howe to prepare for that massive Manchester City match on Saturday.
Whilst Man City have their cup match against Watford on Tuesday to deal with.
One positive of course is that at least it now guarantees we will be in the draw for the last sixteen on Wednesday night!
