M6 has acquired the broadcast rights to the Kings World Cup, a tournament which will bring together several big names from the football world.

Without making any noise, M6 continues its progression in the French audiovisual landscape for the broadcast of sporting events. The group achieved a very nice coup by obtaining the broadcasting rights to Euro 2024, from June 14 to July 14. 13 matches, including the final, will be broadcast on the channel, with the return to comments from Christophe Dugarry.

In addition to the European Championship, the sixth channel can boast of having carried out another great operation with the broadcast of a brand new competition: the Kings World Cup. Designed and organized by former Spanish footballer Gérard Piqué, this event, which already benefits from good promotion on social networks, will bring together some illustrious football stars.

Beautiful people for Kings World Cup on M6

The general public will thus be able to find well-known former French footballers like Samir Nasri and Jérémy Menez, headliners of the French team “Foot2Rue” led by the streamer AmineMaTue. But other even louder names will liven up the competition.

Pique has indeed achieved the feat of convincing stars of the caliber of Neymar, Eden Hazard, Andriy Shevchenko and even Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez. The honorary president of the tournament will also be a famous figure: Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Stars who will therefore be broadcast live on M6 and on the M6+ streaming platform. As a reminder, the first round will take place on May 26, 27 and 28. Neymar, injured, should not admire his technique, but the simple presence of the Brazilian star will agitate his fans…
