Neymar announces a huge disappointment to come for Mbappé

Neymar delivered his prediction for the next Ballon d’Or. And the place that the Brazilian attributes to Kylian Mbappé should not please the latter.

Teammate for six seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé had a roller coaster relationship. Once very close, the two men saw their relationship deteriorate over the years. So much so that the Frenchman reportedly pushed the Parisian management for the Brazilian to leave the club last summer. Which is what ultimately happened.

Since their separation, the “Ney” has not hesitated to send a few digs at the “Kyk’s” on social networks in particular. And the latest statements from the Al-Hilal striker should not improve their relationship.

Neymar: “Mbappé takes third place”

Invited to give his prediction for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, which will be awarded next October, by Brazilian journalist Isabela Pagliari, Neymar gave his Top 3. The native of Mogi das Cruzes then placed Mbappé on the last step of the podium behind three Real Madrid players, including two Brazilians.

“Vinicius Junior is first, Rodrygo and Bellingham are joint second and Mbappé takes third place,” thus estimated the former Parisian. It must be said that Vinicius, Rodrygo and Bellingham have a serious advantage over Mbappé in this race for the most prestigious individual distinction in football: a victory in the Champions League, in addition to a title of champion of Spain.
