A new twist in Neymar’s life. The Brazilian star is at the heart of a controversy linked to an accusation of paternity.

Having arrived at Al-Hilal last summer after his time at Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar saw his season abruptly interrupted in October. The Brazilian striker suffered a serious injury, a rupture of the cruciate ligaments and meniscus in his left knee, which occurred during a qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup with Brazil.

Today, the Auriverde star is in full rehabilitation in the hope of returning to the field next season. However, this does not prevent him from making headlines.

Neymar to take DNA test

This Friday, the Daily Mail reveals that the former PSG player is accused by Gabriella Gaspar, a former Hungarian model, of being the biological father of her daughter, now aged 10. According to the British media, Neymar and Gabriella Gaspar had a relationship in 2013 in Santa Cruz de La Sierra, Bolivia, while the player was away with the Seleção.

The 30-year-old woman took the case to court, requesting a DNA test for the Mogi das Cruzes native, which he agreed to take. In addition to this request, Gabriella Gaspar is claiming a monthly pension of more than €30,000 as well as compensation to cover the ten years of caring for the child.
