After a year-long absence, Neymar was finally able to play again this Monday. It was during an Asian C1 match.

It’s the end of the desert crossing for Neymar. After a year-long inactivity due to a serious knee injury, the Brazilian genius was able to return to the field.

This Monday, the former Parisian was able to play the last quarter of an hour of the match between his Saudi team Al Hilal and Emirates Al Ain. There was a victory 5 goals to 2 of his team, but it was not decisive. However, the main thing was elsewhere with this comeback on the green rectangle that he was waiting for so much.

Neymar smiles again

Neymar should complete his contract with Al Hilal. It is difficult to see him leave before next summer given the significant salary he receives in the Gulf (150 million euros per season). But, for the future, he is likely to move, for example by joining his training club Santos, or even Flamengo.

With his return to competition, Neymar now hopes to be present during Brazil’s next two matches in the World Cup qualifiers. It will be against Venezuela (11/14) and Uruguay (11/20)
