Al-Hilal have finally made an upset regarding Neymar, who is about to make his return to the field after a long injury.

The turnaround is confirmed. While in recent hours a rumor suggested that Neymar might not be registered by his club Al-Hilal on the list of players who can play in the Saudi Pro League this season. The reason? Too many non-EU players in the squad of the reigning Saudi Arabian champion.

But apparently this was just a rumor, or the decision-makers at Al-Hilal have changed their minds. Because according to the Saudi media AriyadhiahNeymar is indeed in the group selected to play in the championship for this 2024-2025 season, he who was withdrawn last season due to a serious knee injury.

A former Marseillais pays the price for the return of Ney

And the one who pays the price for the Brazilian star’s return is his compatriot Renan Lodi. According to the same source, the former Marseille player was the player who was left out by Al-Hilal to leave a non-EU spot for Neymar.

Ten months after his serious injury sustained last October during a match against Uruguay with Brazil, “Ney” was seen on Saturday on the training grounds with a ball in his feet. Which suggests an imminent return for the former Parisian.
