Ngoumou: Lookman Will Win Africa Player Of The Year Prize

Former Cameroonian junior international, Francois Ngoumou has tipped Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman to win the African Player of The Year Award.

The Nigerian international who had a stand out performance last season with Atalanta in the Serie A and also with the Super Eagles at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, is considered as favourite to claim the prize.

In a chat with Foot Africa, Ngoumou stated that Lookman has been consistent with his form compare to his other challengers.

“He was brilliant at the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria.

“His performances with Atalanta were very interesting. He was able to assert himself and prove decisive in the Europa League.

“Guirassy is all fired up after these two competitions. Over the last twelve months, I think Lookman has been more consistent. He has shone at the highest level.”
