NHL star Boone Jenner and his wife, Maggie, are mourning the death of their baby boy one month before his due date.
The couple announced in a joint statement on Instagram Wednesday that their unborn son, Dawson, was stillborn on Sunday, March 31.
“We are at a loss for words. A pain like no other,” the pair wrote alongside a concrete cast of their baby’s feet.

The Columbus Blue Jackets forward, 30, and his wife that while they’re heartbroken, they are also “incredibly grateful” to be Dawson’s parents and “look forward to holding him again one day in heaven.”

The pair announced in December they were expecting a “lil babe” in May 2024, sharing photos of Maggie’s sonogram and baby bump.

Maggie supported Boone in-person while he played in the 2024 NHL All-Star Game in Toronto in February, and then they jetted off to a tropical locale for a babymoon.
