Nia Jax has been a force to be reckoned with in WWE over the past few years and that is why she was chosen to main event the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. Jax has now revealed when she came to know she would main event the show.

On the road to WrestleMania 40, WWE made a stop in Perth, Australia for their Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. The main event featured Nia Jax challenging Australia’s own Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship.

Nia Jax made a guest appearance on Hall of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore and revealed that she found out about headlining the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event the night before. She expressed feeling a lot of pressure as it was a significant event with stacked matches.

Jax emphasized the importance of putting on the best match possible with Rhea Ripley, wanting to tell a compelling story for the fans. Despite the pressure, she considered it an honor to main event in front of the audience.

”I didn’t know (Rhea Ripley & myself were main eventing Elimination Chamber) until I think the night before. I think somebody had sent a card to me and I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, does this mean that we’re on in the main event?’ I’m not gonna lie, it felt like a lot pressure because you had some pretty stacked Elimination Chambers and a great tag on the card and so — and then you had The Grayson Waller Effect.”

”Being main event of that show, it was a pretty big deal for me and I just wanted to put on the best match I possibly could with a great story. Easy with Rhea Ripley but, wanted to be able to tell a really good story to the fans and hope that it resonated to them and it was an honor to main event in front of all those people.

Nia Jax would lose to Rhea Ripley in what turned out to be an electrifying main event at Elimination Chamber. Jax also made her presence felt against Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch on RAW this past week, so we’ll have to see if she will still get to compete at WrestleMania 40 somehow.
