TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth says he’s going to be with TNA for a long time.

Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, debuted at TNA Hard To Kill 2024. He went on to win the TNA World Championship at TNA Slammiversary, and he has held the gold ever since. Mike Johnson of PWInsider recently reported that Nemeth had signed a contract extension with TNA.

Speaking with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, Nic Nemeth was asked whether he had re-signed with TNA.

“I didn’t tell anybody that, but I believe in the company so much, and I refuse to sign a long-term deal with anybody because I just got out of a long-term relationship, and I said, hey, listen, I don’t want to sign it. I go, I’m not going anywhere,” Nic Nemeth said. “I love being here, and this last year has made my love for TNA, behind the scenes and in the ring even more so.

“I believe in so many people here. Tommy, Gail, Ariel behind the scenes, and everybody in the ring, and I feel like the next five years are gonna be huge for them, so I am proud to be a member. I won’t ever sign a long-term deal, but I’m gonna be here for a long time.”

Nic Nemeth will defend the TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry at TNA Genesis.

WrestleZone will have coverage of TNA Genesis as it airs on January 19th.
