Nic Nemeth and Hiroshi Tanahashi will clash at NJPW Sakura Genesis.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling has confirmed that Nic Nemeth will defend the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi at the April 6 event. Nemeth beat David Finlay to win the gold at NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo. On the second night of the event on February 24, he challenged Tanahashi to a match, and he accepted.
Additionally, Tetsuya Naito will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the New Japan Cup, which will begin on March 6. Check out the bracket here.
