Nicholas Galitzine Teases What He's Doing to Prepare to Play He-Man in 'Masters of the Universe'

Nicholas Galitzine opened up about getting in superhuman shape to play He-Man in his new movie Masters of the Universe.

The 30-year-old actor was cast in Amazon MGM’s live-action movie, which will be directed by Travis Knight.

He shared a new photo on social media ahead of the holidays, revealing that he’s getting seriously buff for the role. In a new interview, he reflected on what he’s doing to get in shape.

“I’ve been lifting all the heavy things in the world to get into He-Man shape,” Nicholas told Vogue in an interview, acknowledging that he’s been keeping a low profile since September.

Just a few weeks ago, we learned that another popular actor had joined Nicholas in Masters of the Universe and would be playing an iconic villain.

Masters centers on “Price Adam of Eternia who, thanks to his Power Sword, turns into He-Man and is embued with superhuman strength and abilities, which he uses to defend his native planet and Castle Grayskull,” via THR.

The movie is expected to premiere in theaters on June 5, 2026.
