Nicholas noted that it was even harder to audition for big roles nowadays since there are so many reports about who is going out for what role. “A week before we did the Batman test, I was driving in my car and I had the radio on and they were talking on the radio about how Rob was going to be the new Batman,” he recalled. “And I was like, ‘It’s not confirmed yet!’ I was like, ‘I’m auditioning next weekend. Give me a chance.’” Despite the challenges, the actor added that he was drawn to audition for Superman again for a chance to work with James Gunn. He added that the process for Superman was a bit easier so that he didn’t “have to go through that again.” Check out the latest update on The Batman Part II.
