Nick Aldis speaks highly of the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley).

Longtime TNA stars Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin made their WWE debut on the October 18 episode of WWE SmackDown. Ahead of the show, WWE shared a clip in which they signed their WWE SmackDown contracts, and Nick Aldis welcomed them to the blue brand.

In a tweet, Nick Aldis commented on the Motor City Machine Guns’ arrival in WWE. He called them two of his favorite people in the industry. Aldis also said that they were about to go global, and nobody deserves it more.

“A tremendous full-circle moment with two of my favorite people in this industry,” he wrote. “Real ones already know, but MCMG are about to go global, and nobody deserves it more.”

Triple H also shared his thoughts on the Motor City Machine Guns’ debut and wrote that they were one of the most influential tag teams in wrestling today.

Chris Sabin On WWE Debut

Additionally, Chris Sabin commented on the Motor City Machine Guns’ WWE debut. He noted that their journey featured many highs and lows, and it all led to this.

“MCMG are WWE Superstars. The journey started in 2006 with many highs and lows along the way. From being struggling tag team artists working to prove ourselves to inspiring and innovating an entire generation of tag team wrestling, everything has led to this. Thank you.”

Sabin and Shelley defeated A-Town Down Under and Los Garza on WWE SmackDown. They will face #DIY in a Number One Contender’s Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship on the October 25 episode.
