Nick Jonas reposted something from Elon Musk this week, and it has split reactions from the internet and fans. The 32-year-old actor and musician took to Twitter/X to repost a tweet from the Tesla CEO, which included an old Jonas Brothers gif, and share a cheeky comment related to one of their hit songs. However, Nick‘s reaction hasn’t sat well with many fans. Keep reading to find out more… It all started when Elon retweeted another tweet talking about Tesla stock after the election, where he has been supporting President-elect Donald Trump. He was also named by Trump to co-lead a new department under his administration. Elon‘s post on X/Twitter featured a Jonas Brothers gif of Nick and Kevin Jonas turning a table as Joe Jonas walks in. The moment famously comes from one of the brothers’ old skits, where Joe then says, “Oh how the tables have turned.” They recreated it after reuniting in 2019. “My, how the tables have turned! 😂,” Elon posted. Nick saw the post and reposted it, quoting, “Take us to the Year 3000,” along with a photo of Elon pointing. This, however, did not sit well with many fans of Nick‘s, given Elon‘s unwavering support of Donald Trump. “delete this,” one fan replied, with another adding, “don’t piss me off” There were other fans who tried to see another side of Nick‘s post. “Am I the only one who still has faith in him and believes he meant ‘take us to the year 3000’ as a ‘I don’t wanna be here, I rather escape those dark times’? I mean he was home-schooled 😅🤔,” a fan tweeted in a reply to Nick‘s post. Nick‘s Twitter/X post came not long after it was announced the Jonas Brothers will be ringing in the New Year as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025 ahead of their 20th anniversary!
