And the Grammy goes to… not Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice.

The duo were mistakenly named as the “Best Rap Song” winners for their “Barbie World” collab at the 2024 Grammys.

The Recording Academy suffered a major mishap on X after announcing that Minaj and Spice were the recipients of the sought-after gong.

But just moments after tweeting out the wrong names, the Academy rectified their post with the actual winner — rapper Killer Mike — who won the award for his work on “Scientists & Engineers,” which features André 3000, Future & Eryn Allen Kane.

Although the mistake was quickly fixed, eagle-eyed fans spotted the faux pas almost instantly and hit out at the Academy over the blunder by posting screenshots of the original post.

“Congrats Best Rap Song winners – Barbie World (From Barbie The Album) @nickiminaj & @icespicee_ Featuring Aqua,” the original tweet read.

“Currently waiting for you to explain what happened with the Best Rap Song situation,” one fan wrote.

Another penned, “What the hell is going on? Such a mess @RecordingAcad.”

A third added, “#Grammys still have time to apologize that the incorrect winner was announced for Best Rap Song. It’s the only thing you can do to save this situation.”

Minaj, whose real name is Onika Maraj, received a total of two nominations for “Barbie World” — one for “Best Song Written for Visual Media” and another in the “Best Rap Song” category.

She lost in both, meaning that she has yet to win her first Grammy.

The duo’s collab was created as part of the “Barbie” movie soundtrack, and is sampled from Aqua’s 1997 hit “Barbie Girl.”

While the pair have not commented publicly on the awkward blunder, Ice Spice last week gushed over getting to work with Minaj.

“That was unreal. I did not ever think I would get a feature with her, let alone two. So, I’m so grateful. Shoutout to Queen,” she said during an appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna.

The rapper, 24, was up for four nominations — including “Best New Artist.”

“FOUR GRAMMY NOMINATIONS ?! are u s—tin me!!! thank YOU 🫵,” she wrote on X in November after finding out she was nominated.

Elsewhere at the star-studded ceremony, rapper Killer Mike was detained after allegedly getting into an altercation with a security guard.

The rapper, whose real name is Michael Santiago Render, was seen escorted out of the pre-show ceremony at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday after winning three awards.

He was later charged with battery misdemeanor.
