Nicole Scherzinger is opening up about her first Broadway performance over the weekend!

The 46-year-old entertainer appeared on a panel for Variety’s Business of Broadway event on Monday (September 30) in New York City.

Nicole was joined by Sunset Boulevard director Jamie Lloyd to talk about their new production, which just began performances this past weekend.

“I’m not going to lie, I was nervous on Saturday,” she said. “Broadway audiences just hit different. They feel like they’re with you on stage. They’re holding on to every breath. You really feel their energy. They blew me away. I feel like they’re the ones who really brought it on Saturday.”

Nicole exited the stage door after the performance in her full costume, completely covered in blood still!

After previously performing the role of Norma Desmond in the London production, and winning the Olivier Award for Best Actress, Nicole is explaining why she was in “disbelief” when she received the offer to play the aging movie star who is past her prime.
