Nigeria qualified for the CAN semi-finals this Friday in Abidjan.

The Super Eagles put an end to Angola’s good run (1-0), winning thanks to a goal from Lookman in the first period (41e) and a fourth consecutive clean sheet in the competition.

For a place in the final, the Nigerians will face next Wednesday the survivor of the quarter scheduled for Saturday evening between Cape Verde and South Africa.

Triple winner of the CAN (1980, 1994, 2013), Nigeria is a regular in the last four of the continental tournament having been invited there 15 times in the past.
