Nigeria and Ivory Coast face each other in the CAN 2023 final, this Sunday (9 p.m.). Here are the expected lineups for both teams.

This is a match to become a legend. The last step of an unforgettable shared adventure. After going through all the emotions during this African Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast, host country of the competition, will experience a historic moment with the final against Nigeria, this Sunday (kick-off at 9 p.m. ).

And it is with an attractive starting eleven that the Elephants should approach this match. Everything suggests that Emerse Faé will opt for the same men as against the Democratic Republic of Congo. Haller should therefore start at the forefront, in front of a dense and compact midfielder, led by the inevitable Seko Fofana.

Opposite, Nigeria should start this final with its usual animation in 3-4-3. The Super Eagles will still be led by their superstar Victor Osimhen, while Nantes native Moses Simon is also expected in the offensive line.

Onyeka and Iwobi are expected to start in midfield, in front of a central defense made up of Troost-Ekong, Ajayi and Bassey.

The expected compositions

Nigeria: Nwabali – Ajayi, Troost-Ekong (c), Bassey – Osayi-Samuel, Onyeka, Iwobi, Aina – Simon, Osimhen, Lookman.

Ivory Coast : Y. Fofana – Singo, Boly, Ndicka, Konan – Seri, Kessié – Gradel (c), S. Fofana, Adingra – Haller.
