With a new logo, Nigeria LNG Limited says it has rebranded to supply more energy to Nigerians and its customers across the globe.
At a press briefing held in Lagos on Tuesday, the firm also announced the retirement of its General Manager of External Relations and Sustainable Development, Andy Odeh, who is to be succeeded by Mrs Sophia Horsfall.
Speaking at the briefing, he noted that the new logo was an attestation of the company’s vision towards embracing innovations for enhanced sustainability.
According to Odeh, NLNG wants to be seen as not just a gas company, but an energy company promoting a greener environment and a sustainable future.
The outgoing spokesperson appreciated the media for the support he enjoyed in the last 26 years, pleading that the same be extended to his successor.
The newly appointed spokesperson, Horsfall, while also appreciating the media, said the rebranding marked more than a visual evolution but an expression of a commitment to a future where clean, accessible, and reliable energy is a reality for all.
“This is our purpose, and it resonates with the vision you have shared with the public in your reporting, shaping the perception and trust the world has in us,” she stated.
Horsfall commended the media, saying, “Your support, time and insights are vital to our continued success, and we are truly grateful for the critical role you play in our journey.
“As I step into this role, I look forward to deepening the invaluable collaboration we have built together, we have the power to elevate NLNG’s influence and aspirations to new heights, and I am excited to partner with each of you to bring our shared vision to life.”
