Ademola Lookman has remained coy on Nigeria teammate Victor Osimhen playing in the Premier League next season.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed last month that the striker is set to depart in the summer.

De Laurentiis claimed that the 25-year-old could end up at a 'top English club' - with Arsenal and Chelsea known to be admirers.

But Atalanta winger Lookman has refused to disclose whether the centre-forward has asked about life in England following his spells at Everton, Leicester, Fulham and Charlton.

Appearing on talkSPORT Drive in a video call ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations final against hosts Ivory Coast on Sunday, Lookman was asked whether Osimhen has spoken about a move to the Premier League.

Refusing to give anything away, the ex-Everton forward, who won the U-20 World Cup with England in 2017, said: "Not that I know of!

"But I think playing with him is amazing, he's a top player, a top person also.

"Us playing together is a very enjoyable experience, so long may it continue."

Osimhen, who spearhead Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years last campaign, boasts a release clause of £112million.

And he recently teased a switch to England by admitting he is ready for the 'next step' in his career.

"But of course, when you are one of the hottest strikers on the globe, you can expect this type of thing.

John Obi Mikel plays agent as he urges Napoli star Victor Osimhen to join Chelsea on his podcast

"The EPL is one of the biggest - and best - leagues in the world.

"For me, I am at Napoli. I just signed a new contract, I am enjoying my time there, going through it with the team.

"At the end of the season, I have already made up my mind, I already know what I want to do with my career.

"Since I've started, I've been the one making my own decisions and everything is working out well with me, even though when I started it didn't go so well as planned.

"But I already have my plan, I already know what I want to do - the next step I want to take.

"So for now, I just want to finish the season strong, go relax somewhere with my daughter, think about my life.

"And then finally, come up with the decision that I've already made."
