A lawyer, Inibehe Effiong lamented that Nigerians have shifted their focus to 2Face’s marital affair instead of holding the government accountable.
2Face has been in the news for days after he came out publicly to confirm his relationship with the majority leader of the Edo state House of Assembly, Natasha Osawaru.
Rumor has it that the two have been engaged and are also expecting their first child together.
2Face Idibia, Nigerian singer Lamenting about the current brouhaha, the lawyer took to his page to express worry over how Nigerians have been distracted by “multiple dramas” when there is an increased hike in data prices.
He tweeted,
“One week, multiple dramas. “Nigerian celebrities are keeping us busy and distracted with their personal issues and controversial lives while the situation in the country is worsening. “MTN has diabolically increased the cost of data and there’s no sufficient outrage or protest from us (Nigerians).
“We are preoccupied with Tuface and his marital affairs.”
