Nigerians react as lady recreates Bobrisky’s EFCC mugshot (Photos)

A Nigerian, Awele Irene Itegbe have stirred reactions on social media after recreating crossdresser Bobrisky’s mugshot.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Bobrisky, was arrested by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and sentenced to six months imprisonment on Friday, April 12, by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos for abusing the Naira.

He was then remanded to serve his jail term at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre, with the judge ruling that the sentence would commence on March 24, 2024, the day of his arrest.

Before his imprisonment, the commission released his mugshot during his trial, which made rounds online.

However, Itegbe Irene chose to recreate the infamous mugshot for her Final Year costume day.

Sharing photos of her wearing similar attire to the one Bobrisky wore for his mugshot, Awele stated that she was arrested for alleged BBL, unlike Bob, who was arrested for Naira abuse.

Irene who called for Bobrisky’s release, had joked that she wasn’t ready for people to demand justice for her.

“EFCC because, quite frankly, I’m not ready to do FreeAwele. Free Bobrisky.”
