Two WWE Hall of Famers, Nikki Bella and Trish Stratus, returned to the ring in the 2025 Royal Rumble match.
The last time fans saw Nikki was at the Raw Netflix premiere in early January. Her last in-ring appearance was in the 2022 women’s Rumble match. She was the number 30 entrant in this year’s match and last until the final four and made one elimination (Bayley).
After Nikki’s appearance at the Raw Netflix premiere, there have been reports of her returning back to WWE for a run. There is no confirmation from WWE on this, however, she has a new t-shirt merchandise for sale on the WWEShop.
Trish Stratus was also in this year’s Rumble. This is Stratus’ first appearance since September 2023 where she faced Becky Lynch in a steel cage at Payback. Stratus entered the Rumble in the 25th spot and eliminated one Superstar (Candice LeRae).
Much like Nikki, it is unknown if Stratus will continue with WWE past this Rumble appearance. Same as Nikko, Stratus does have a new t-shirt merchandise for sale on the WWEShop.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful did post this after the Rumble ended reporting Stratus should be continuing with the company.
