Although the 40-year-old didn’t name Chigvintsev in her post, the quote about “lies” was shared just a few hours before her sister’s ex broke his silence on the domestic violence incident that took place on Aug. 29.

“I am incredibly relieved and grateful that the domestic violence charges against me have been dropped,” the “DWTS” alum told E! News in a statement.

“This has been an extremely difficult time for me. I am thankful that the truth has prevailed.”

The “DWTS” alum expressed his gratitude for the dropped charges via Instagram on Wednesday. Instagram/@theartemc Chigvintsev emphasized that his “focus” remains on his and Nikki’s son, Matteo, 4. Instagram/@theartemc

Later in the statement, Chigvintsev, 42, emphasized that his “focus has always been and will always be” on his and Nikki’s 4-year-old son, Matteo.

The Russian dancer was arrested for a domestic violence incident that took place at his Napa, Calif., home.

Although it remains unconfirmed whether Nikki was the victim in the incident, a 911 call revealed that she was involved in an argument with her son’s father moments before the call. Matteo was also present at the time of the argument.

“My understanding of the investigated facts surrounding the 8/29/24 incident have led me to conclude from the beginning that Artem was not the primary aggressor,” Antonyan said.

“I believe that to be true even if the burden of proof would be the preponderance of evidence, which is the standard of proof in family court.”
