Nikkita Lyons has given an update following a devastating knee injury.
The NXT star has suffered from knee injuries for almost the entirety of her run in the company. She announced in 2022 that she had a torn MCL, and wore a knee brace when wrestling following the injury.
Sadly, things went from bad to worse. In January this year, Nikkita Lyons tore her ACL and meniscus, putting her out of action for some months. She hoped to be back in time for Halloween Havoc, and a recent update could mean she will be back in time to appear.
Nikkita Lyons posted an update about her condition on Twitter. The NXT star revealed that it is eight months since her operation, and she is now sporting double knee braces.
She added that it’s only over when you quit, heavily implying she is not giving up and will be returning soon.
“it’s been a minute. 8 months post op on my left ACL. now im even. lmao… it’s not over when you fall, it’s over when you don’t get back up and just quit. no one knows all you’ve been through but you. take your power back and protect your peace.”

— Nikkita Lyons (@nikkita_wwe) September 23, 2024If she is aiming to return at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024, she will have to get a move on. It is less than two months until the event, and with no footage of her back in the ring yet, it could be a squeeze to fit her on the card.
Halloween Havoc 2024 is set to take place on Sunday, 27 Oct 2024. It is in the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and looked to be a realistic goal for Nikkita Lyons to aim for. However, time will tell whether her knee will be cleared to wrestle.
