On September 29, New Japan Pro-Wrestling held their NJPW Destruction in Kobe event at Kobe World Hall in Kobe, Japan.

In the main event, Tetsuya Naito defended the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Great-O-Khan. Elsewhere on the show, Shingo Takagi challenged HENARE for the NEVER Openweight Championship. Plus, David Finlay defended the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship against YOSHI-HASHI.

Shota Umino, Ryusuke Taguchi & Dragon Dia def. Yuji Nagata, Tomoaki Honma & Tiger Mask Los Ingobernables de Japón (Yota Tsuji, BUSHI & Hiromu Takahashi) def. United Empire (Jeff Cobb, Callum Newman & Francesco Akira) Hirooki Goto def. Gabe Kidd As Kidd made his entrance, he dragged a cameraman to Goto’s laid-out body in the back. he brought Goto back out, and they brawled. Kidd choked Kidd out, and the referee called off the match. Kidd demanded a restart, and Goto eventually emerged victorious. TMDK (Zack Sabre Jr., Kosei Fujita & Ryohei Oiwa) def. Just 5 Guys (SANADA, Taichi & Taka Michinoku) Oiwa was revealed as TMDK’s newest member, and he scored the win for the group. NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano & Boltin Oleg (c) def. House of Torture (EVIL, SHO & Yujiro Takahashi) (with Dick Togo) Ren Narita interfered, but El Phantasmo made his return and stopped him. Phantasmo, alongside Jado, shook hands with Tanahashi. IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: DOUKI (c) def. Yoshinobu Kanemaru (with Yujiro Takahashi and Dick Togo) SHO threatened DOUKI and demanded a title match after the bell. DOUKI accepted the challenge, and SHO attacked him. NEVER Openweight Championship: Shingo Takagi def. HENARE to win the title. IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship: David Finlay (with Gedo) def. YOSHI-HASHI Hirooki Goto confronted Finlay after the match, teasing a potential clash. IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Tetsuya Naito (c) def. Great-O-Khan After the match, Zack Sabre Jr. addressed his upcoming match at NJPW King of Pro Wrestling, and Oiwa challenged Shingo Takagi to defend the NEVER Openweight Championship against him at King of Pro Wrestling.
