Mercedes Moné will defend the gold at NJPW Strong Style Evolved on December 15.

At NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed, Hazuki faced Trish Adora, Anna Jay, and Koguma in a Number One Contender’s Match for Mercedes Moné’s NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.

In the closing minutes, Koguma and Hazuki trade blows. Adora gained the upper hand, but Hazuki got a two-count with a pin attempt. Adora took control again, but Hazuki rallied with a flurry of strikes. Two German suplexes scored Adora two-count for the win. Hazuki countered a lariat and scored the win with a pinning maneuver.

NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné came out and said that Hazuki would face the greatest of all time at NJPW. Hazuki said the title would be hers. Moné said that she should give her a preview, and she hit Hazuki. They brawled, and “The CEO” stood tall.

Moné previously won the title by defeating Stephanie Vaquer at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Hazuki has won multiple titles in STARDOM; she is a four-time Artist of Stardom Champion and a three-time Goddesses of Stardom Champion.
