Choppa appeared to catch the user’s tweet and responded. Furthermore, the rapper let the user know he’s “Never been gay baiting.”

Never been gay baiting. It’s me showing freedom. Anything now a days is called gay or it’s baiting. In reality I’m comfortable enough, and have the upmost confidence in how good God designed me head to toe. Call me what you want but a straight man comfortable in my skin, I AM…” he wrote.

NLE Choppa Previously Addressed Similar Sentiments

As The Shade Room previously reported, in April of last year, NLE Choppa spoke out, addressing similar criticism. At the time, the rapper was promoting his single, ‘Sl*t Me Out,’ which featured risqué lyrics and accompanying visuals. In one bar, Choppa rapped, saying that he would have relations with himself.

Subsequently, the rapper spoke against the chatter, asserting he’s just “in love” with himself. However, his “intimacy” lies only with women.

Later that month, however, Choppa would spark additional conversation by thanking the LGBTQ+ community for supporting the song.
