No Chance? Details On When And If Vince McMahon Could Return To Wrestling

Same as the old boss? The biggest change in wrestling this year, and one of the most important in wrestling history, is the departure of Vince McMahon from WWE. This came after a string of sexual misconduct allegations, resulting in McMahon walking away from his company. McMahon has since sold the majority of his stock in the company, which has led to some questions about McMahon’s future. We might have a few answers.

According to F4WOnline.com, McMahon is currently in the middle of a non-compete clause, which bars him from working in the wrestling industry. This period will end in January 2025, though the majority of sources feel that McMahon will not return to the industry. This would be due to age (McMahon will be 79 in January 2025), his reputation, and a “lack of openings”. McMahon has not spoken about a potential return to wrestling.

Opinion: On paper, there is almost no way to believe that McMahon will return to wrestling given all of the things that are alleged against him. At the same time, there is always the chance that McMahon could shake everything up, as he has a history of doing. It’s one of those things that is hard to fathom but McMahon is one of the few people who could be so far out there to try and see what happens.
