Nobody Wants This is returning for a second season on Netflix and there’s an exciting update about the cast! In season one – only four actors had “series regular” status, but that is going to change for the second season. Also, there will be two new showrunners for season two with Girls‘ Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan will be taking over from Jack Burditt. The show’s creator Erin Foster will be back for season two as an executive producer and writer. Nobody Wants This follows Kristen Bell‘s Joanne falling in love with a rabbi named Noah, played by Adam Brody. At the end of the first season, Joanne realizes she’s not ready to convert to Judaism to be with Noah and tries to break up with him as she wants him to take the head rabbi position.
