Actor and producer Femi Adebayo has stirred controversy by revealing that he slapped his father, Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), during the filming of the 2008 movie *Taiwo Taiwo*. In a video interview, Adebayo explained that the incident happened while shooting a scene in which he played a notorious armed robber.

In the scene, Adebayo’s character was supposed to break into a man’s home to rob him. When his father, who was playing the role of the victim, refused to hand over the money, Adebayo, in the heat of the moment, subconsciously slapped him. He admitted that this action was unscripted and later expressed regret for it.

Adebayo defended his actions by saying he was trying to enhance his portrayal of the character. Despite the unexpected slap, he apologized to his father afterward, who, interestingly, praised him for his performance, noting that if he hadn’t reacted so authentically, he might have faced criticism for his acting.
