The wife of Manchester United legend Norman Whiteside has criticised the club for ‘dumping’ the couple from their seats at Old Trafford.
Denise Whiteside hit out after they were relocated from their usual spot at the stadium.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, she said: “So, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been a loyal supporter, doesn’t matter if you played for your club, @ManUtd can just dump you from your seat when they feel like it, so they can expand exec seating! Absolutely disgrace.!”

According to Denise, who is more commonly known as Dee, many of the ‘United family’ who have sat in the same stadium area for 20-30 years are “really angry” about this enforced seat relocation.
The club has done this to fans in the past, but if they’re willing to do it to a club legend and FA Cup winner like Whiteside, what hope do any of us have? Whiteside scored 68 goals for the club and was the youngest player to appear in a World Cup tournament match.
United fans have reacted angrily to the update on social media and understandably so!
Dee stressed that this has come at a time when the season ticket price is increasing and she makes a very valid point.
It’s not just about Norman, many of the “United family” we sit with have been in that block for 20-30+ years, and are all really angry about this ENFORCED seat relocation.
At a time when the football has been less than spectacular and the season ticket price is increasing! 😱🤬

Manchester United said it was “committed to working with all season ticket holders affected by relocations.
