Not so fast? The biggest wrestling story of the week has been WWE Monday Night Raw moving over to Netflix starting in January. This will mark the first time that the show will not air on regular television in its history. However, there is one problem in the whole ordeal involving a gap in the schedule. Now we know a bit more about one thing that won’t be happening.

Monday Night Raw’s current contract with the USA Network expires at the end of September while the new Netflix deal begins in January. As a result, there is a three month gap where WWE currently does not have a home for Monday Night Raw. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, USA has told Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics that they will not be airing Monday Night Raw for the last three months of the year. WWE will be making an announcement “relatively soon”, though it is not clear what WWE will be doing.
