IMG Credit: All Elite WrestlingThey have a point. Wrestlers will often jump from one promotion to another and it might not always be the smoothest transition. There will be times when a wrestler leaves and wraps everything up, but on occasion their previous promotion will be left hanging. Unfortunately that seems to be the case again, as a newly signed WWE wrestler is not likely to wrap things up elsewhere.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: A New Look: WWE Reportedly Introducing Fun New Feature Soon
Earlier this week, Shawn Michaels announced that Stephanie Vaquer had signed with WWE. Vaquer was the reigning CMLL Women’s Champion and one half of the CMLL Women’s Tag Team Champions, both of which have since been stripped. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, both CMLL and New Japan are unhappy with Vaquer, who was scheduled for dates with both companies which were canceled when she signed with WWE. Opinion: It makes sense that the promotions would be upset by this, as Vaquer was signed by WWE and then more or less cut her ties with everything else. While that is good for AEW, it doesn’t make things the best for everyone else. It’s great that Vaquer was signed by WWE but it is not exactly good business to walk away from other promotions and leave them hanging like that.
What do you think of Vaquer? How should she be used in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
