Bayern Munich forward and Barcelona target Bryan Zaragoza has confirmed that all the reports related to his loan exit next season are false, adding that he will continue his journey with the Bavarians as this is what he wants.

A few days ago, it was reported that Bayern Munich are beginning to feel that the 22-year-old has not adjusted well to the Bundesliga.

Consequently, they are considering loaning him out during the summer transfer window, with Barcelona being on high alert to the developments.

The player, however, has refuted the claims in an interview with AS, stating, “Reports on my exit on loan next season are not true. Not at all.

“It’s true that the beginning has been a little hard, but I already feel good, adapted to the team. Little by little to get opportunities.

“I see myself next season at Bayern, for that I have signed for five and a half years. Next year I want to play for Bayern,” he explained.

Aren’t Barcelona interested?

A couple of weeks ago, we reported that Barcelona are keeping tabs on Zaragoza’s development in Germany. They are aware that he has not adapted well and the Bavarians might sanction a move.

As of today, Barcelona are working on low-cost options and Zaragoza could be their man given their interest in the past.

It is said that sporting director Deco happens to be a fan and he even met with the winger’s agent back in January before the player moved to Germany.

Considering their previous interest, Barcelona may consider bringing Zaragoza in on loan this summer if the circumstances align favourably.

However, with the player now ruling out the possibility of leaving Bayern Munich in the summer, the Blaugrana might have to shift their focus to other potential targets.
