Manchester United have their new coach. The Mancunian club has formalized the arrival of Portuguese coach from Sporting CP Ruben Amorim.
The 39-year-old young coach will leave the Portuguese club during the November international break to join the Red Devils with the aim of turning around the English club.
At a press conference, the future ex-manager of the Portuguese club spoke about his choice to join the English team in the coming days. “ Manchester United appeared and the release clause was paid. I was told it was now or never. I had three days to decide and I accepted, it was impossible to refuse. This is exactly the context I wanted because I can do things my way. I’m going to take my technical staff to Manchester United. They are absolutely essential for me. We have been together since Casa Pia. It was one of the conditions,” he said in front of journalists.
He only has two matches left to end his adventure in style with the Portuguese club. One against future rival Manchester City in the Champions League and the second on the Braga pitch on November 10.
With the Mancunian club, he should make his debut on the bench on November 24 in the Premier League on the lawn of promoted Ipswich.
