Karmen Petrovic earned a title shot on the February 18th episode of WWE NXT.

On the February 18th episode of WWE NXT, Kelani Jordan faced Jaida Parker and Karmen Petrovic in a Number One Contender’s Match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. The three competitors battled back and forth throughout the bout. In the closing minutes, Parker dropped Jordan with a suplex, but Petrovic snuck back in and stole the pinfall.

Parker hit Petrovic after the bell. Jordan then took the fight to Parker, and they brawled to the back. Fatal Influence stormed the ring and ganged up on Petrovic. They viciously attacked her until NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer came to the ring. She was quickly joined by NXT Women’s Champion Giulia. Giulia tried to help Vaquer, but they were outnumbered. Jordynne Grace made the save and challenged the trio to a match.

Before the attack, the broadcast team confirmed that Petrovic would challenge for the title on the February 25th episode of WWE NXT.

Vaquer won the NXT Women’s North American Championship by beating Fallon Henley at NXT Vengeance Day.
