NWA Partners With WWC For WWC Honor vs. Traición Event

The National Wrestling Alliance announced that they are partnering with the World Wrestling Council.

NWA confirmed that they will join forces with WWC for the WWC Honor vs. Traición event. The show is set to be held on May 11, 2024, at the Cancha Pepin Cestero in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. The show will pay homage to the history of WWC, a promotion that is legendary in Puerto Rico.

The official announcement for the event also promises a “star-studded” lineup. NWA World Women’s Champion Kenzie Paige, Thom Latimer, Bryan Idol, Natalia Markova, Silas Mason, and Kerry Morton are set to appear.

The press release included a statement from NWA President William Patrick Corgan. He highlighted NWA’s partnership with WWC.

“This partnership (facilitated by our promoter Bryan Idol) with WWC represents a seismic shift in our wrestling landscape, and we are absolutely thrilled to bring this electrifying event to fans in Puerto Rico!” said Corgan. “From Mexico City to Australia, we’ve showcased the best of NWA talent over the past two years, and now, alongside WWC, we’re set to elevate wrestling to august heights!”
