The number one contender for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship will be someone who hasn’t had a shot at the title. Her opponent will be determined next week on NXT where a No Mercy Gauntlet Eliminator match will take place. The winner will go on to face Perez at No Mercy on Sept. 1.
Six women were selected by a draw on the Augz 13 episode of NXT by General Manager Ava. She gave Stevie Turner the credit for the match idea (but it was Mr. Stone’s idea).
With a lot of talent waiting to hear if they were selected, these six women will be in the match.
