Ricky Saints will challenge for the gold on the April 1st episode of WWE NXT.
Saints has crossed paths with NXT North American Champion Shawn Spears in recent weeks. They had a heated confrontation on the March 25th episode of WWE NXT, as Saints told Spears that he was coming for the title, and Spears referenced Saints’ exit from AEW.
The broadcast team then confirmed that Saints will challenge Spears for the title on the April 1st episode of WWE NXT. This will be Saints’ third match on NXT television. In his debut, he and Je’Von Evans beat Wes Lee and Ethan Page. Saints then defeated Ridge Holland on the March 18th episode of WWE NXT.
Additionally, Trick Williams called out NXT Champion Oba Femi to come find him on the show, as he has been determined to regain the title.
Plus, Ava teased that she would make an announcement about determining a new challenger for double champion Stephanie Vaquer.
