WWE NXT viewership slightly dropped on October 8.

Wade Keller of the PWTorch reports that NXT drew 874,000 viewers in its second week on The CW Network. In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.24 rating. These numbers are down from last week (895,000 viewers, 0.26 rating).

NXT was up against AEW Dynamite, which aired outside of its usual Wednesday night slow. Dynamite started at 9 p.m. ET, so shows went head to head in NXT’s second hour.

The October 8 episode of WWE NXT featured a special appearance from Randy Orton, who faced Je’Von Evans. Plus, Tony D’Angelo challenged Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship, and Nathan Frazer and Axiom defended the NXT Tag Team Championship against A-Town Down Under. Elsewhere on the show, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Kelani Jordan faced Fatal Influence.
